Mail the Pook

I have created a temporary email account for Pook here: pookmill@yahoo.com

I think there are two types of people coming to this site. One is people following links from various anti-feminist sites. The other are old-time Sosuave fans wondering what their silly Pook is up to.

To those not familiar with Pookiness, imagine a Nice Guy initially posting his 'discoveries' on a how-to-get-girls forum and evolving with each 'discovery' to eventually transcend the Matriarchy. To my surprise, many young men looked to me for advice.

The reason why comments have not been enabled on this site is because 1) I don't have the time to police them 2) I'm not going to give any stranger access to post whatever they want on MY site. I'd rather spend the limited time on updating the site rather than playing 'police' with the comments.

But, unless you knew the super secret areas in which I've been at, it has been impossible for anyone to contact me (I don't dare check that message box on Sosuave even though new messages keep being sent there!! Every time I clear it out, it fills up again.)

-I will respond to every email.

-But if I get swamped with emails, I'll make an announcement and remove the link.

-Make your emails entertaining enough so I can hopefully answer them here on the blog. This is so I can answer any common questions.

-Ask me anything.

-...except the nasty incest questions. You won't believe some of the questions I got. "Pook! I want to bang my cousin!"

Having people read what you write is always a gift, something not to be taken for granted. I'm surprised people are reading this blog so far. I hope you excuse the sloppiness and general bad writing so far on this site. This is just the start. I have far greater plans for this little page. (But before I went with the full website, I needed to see if I could handle a simple blog.)

For those of you that have kindly linked to me, I will repay the favor. I'll be taking the time to update the links sidebar with links back. I'm not ignoring anyone, I've just been lazy in updating the sidebar!

The last website I've had was back in the early ninties, back when I had to code everything and websites generally had to be about something (none of these 'nothing' pages like these diary-like blogs were popular back then). One of the few nice things is how easy it is to update these blogs. They have a nice WYSIWYG where I don't have to mess with coding. This makes updates a snap.

I have a different idea of how to make a webpage then most. Two things the webmaster must do: first update almost daily. But updating is not enough. The webmaster must write a little on the side. This stuff on the side gets added to the library. So the website ends up having a flowing 'news' section but also a rich library (that gets bigger over time) for people who want to read more content.

Blogs mimic an online diary and don't do well with a library format. My goal is to create one of the largest and richest libraries on the Internet available. I want to seize people's attention and hold it so I can charge outrageous advertising fees.

"This plan will not work, Mr. Pook!"

Maybe not, but I'm going to try. It is a low cost experiment. And I'm not talking about slapping banners around but a different approach which will make the advertiser more direct money.

So what is going to be on the full website? Well, the focus will be the library.

It will have all of Pook's sosuave posts, either in their original form or re-written due to legality, up in one place. (around seven hundred pages total)

It will have all of Pook's sosuave posts he hasn't posted yet. (a hundred to two hundred pages)

It will have some of Pook's other work that has appeared on other message forums.

It will have new work that Pook would like to put up for anyone interested.

While I am filled to the brim about things I would like to talk about, I find it necessary to take a little break from my rampant posting. Just as an athlete's performance diminishes if he doesn't take a rest, so too does a Pook if forced to make long posts everyday. So as I go into my Pook sleep, feel free to email me. I'll put up good emails on up here in the following days (just don't WrItE LIkE ThIS, ok?).
