Hellhound in Maine

Just like with the tree that waters itself, I love mysteries that baffle the 'experts'. Some mutant creature's body was identified in Maine that no one is able to identify. Reports have been about some hellhound like creature that has been terrorizing pets and roaming Maine. The body of this creature is believed to be that "evil, evil" animal. Was it a hybrid of a dog and wolf? Or how about a dog and rat?
